With a career spanning over three decades, Les is an experienced Canadian public safety leader who has served in numerous roles, from rookie Police Recruit to distinguished Police Chief. His impactful contributions have touched communities through the RCMP, Victoria Police Department, and the Central Saanich Police Service on Vancouver Island. As a leadership scholar, Les has delved into crucial areas such as police retirement, 21st-century police leadership, and the intersection of mindfulness with policing. Beyond his official duties, Les is a passionate leadership coach, dedicated to guiding others on their journey of personal growth and unlocking their full potential.
